Description: |
DESCRIPTION: Credit Officer for Structured Trade and Commodity Finance
(“STCF”) which should cover Energy, including Oil & Gas, Metal and Soft Commodities. Take initiative for risk analysis, collateral management, and handling execution of new and ongoing transactions, including customer contact. Support account monitoring and administration of STCF portfolio.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS: At least 5 years experience in credit analysis and loan administration supporting Latin and North American transactions. Previous experience with Japanese Bank is an advantage but not required. Credit experience in variety of STCF related products through physical transactions. Detail oriented, strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with interdepartmental marketing and credit staff in a deal-focused, cooperative and constructive manner. Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Economics, or equivalent education and training. Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and research tools. Working time flexibility in order to work under global trade finance teams that maintain offices and deals in many countries in different regions. Fluent in verbal and written Spanish - strongly preferred but not required; knowledge of Portuguese a plus. |
