Description: |
DESCRIPTION: Credit Officer for trade finance transactions and portfolios; and acts as the trade finance team’s point person for all credit issues and policies. Independent Officer from marketing and reporting to head of the Group and management in charge of credit related matters stationed in London. Responsible for updating marketing/origination of new and changes to credit policies. EXPERIENCE/SKILLS: At least 10 years experience in credit and country Analysis. Previous experience with Japanese Bank or other foreign bank a plus. Extensive experience in credit control, review and monitoring as well as work out for U.S. and Latin American transactions. Competency to represent and argue an independent and if needed, contrary opinion based on one’s own analysis and judgment. Ability to contribute to the development and implementation of credit policies and procedures to support growth of Trade Finance business. Bachelors/Masters degree in Finance or Economics, or equivalent education and training. Intensive experience in credit analysis for Commodity Finance, Structured Finance, Corporate Finance and Finance to Banks in Latin and North American market. High proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), bank credit system, research tools. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Working time flexibility in order to work under global trade finance teams that maintain offices and deals in many countries in different regions. Fluent in verbal and written English and Spanish - strongly preferred but not required. |
