Description: |
DESCRIPTION: Lead credit monitoring/control/administration of the Specialized Finance, America’s Division’s existing portfolio with a view to identifying potential credit issues early. The portfolio consists primarily of energy and infrastructure project finance transactions. There are also some corporate transactions in Latin America.
Tasks include: Periodic internal credit reviews, Process periodic portfolio summary and action plans, Credit monitoring/administration (e.g. covenant control, amendments, waivers (and restructurings), project budget consents, ensure security package is maintained, monitor project progress/projections), Restructuring/Work-outs, Administrative Agent.
EXPERIENCE: At least 5 years of experience in project finance. Will consider candidates with corporate power/energy experience, but project finance experience is preferred. Candidates with a background in a lending institution (as opposed to research/rating agency experience (are preferred). Must be comfortable reviewing complex legal documents.
Experience/knowledge in one of the following sectors: power, oil & gas, infrastructure. Experience/knowledge in either North or Latin American transactions would be a plus.
SKILLS: Credit analysis and problem solving skills. Attention to detail in analyzing a credit and where necessary, preparing and supporting a recommendation in writing. Skills in administration/management of structured/project finance portfolio. Ability to effectively present and implement solutions to senior management/relevant credit departments. High degree of adaptability to internal procedures, policies, systems and compliance. Ability to coordinate with various related departments (e.g.
Originations, Credit, Credit Administration). Ability to manage competing deadlines. Familiarity with Excel and complex financial models. High degree of attention to details. Act as a resource to the more Junior members of the team. Spanish/Portuguese language skills are a plus, but NOT required. |
